Moonlight Memoirs is distributed to libraries by Quality Books, Inc, to bookstores by Partners Book Distributing and to schools by Follett Library Resources.
Good Times Press is honored to join hands with the Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS). On December 7, 2009, two hundred and twenty-four copies of Moonlight Memoirs were donated to TAPS. You also can assist grieving military families by donating a copy of Moonlight Memoirs to TAPS. For more information, click here.
Future Events
- Maggie will be signing books at the Annapolis Bookstore during their grand re-opening this July. Date and time to be announced.
- On August 14, 2010 Maggie will be attending the African American Author's Book Expo in Columbia Maryland where she will be selling and signing books.
- This summer and fall, Moonlight Memoirs will be displayed at the following book fairs and conventions:
Past Events
- Moonlight Memoirs attended Book Expo America in May and the American Library Associations' 2010 Annual Conference in June
- Moonlight Memoirs won the first place gold medal in the Next Generation Indie Book Awards - Spirituality Category!
- Moonlight Memoirs was awarded the Young Voices Foundation Seal of Approval, honoring books that inspire, mentor and/or educate the reader.
- We are thrilled to announce that we have a new distributor, Follett Library Resources, which distributes books to schools and school libraries world-wide.
- On June 19th, Maggie co-lead a writing/drawing group activity at Families with Children from China Maryland's Culture Camp.
- On Saturday, June 26, 2010 at 11 AM, Maggie held a book signing in the Quality Books, Inc. booth at the 2010 American Library Association Annual Conference in Washington DC.
- Maggie and Melody were on "Talking Books TV" where they were interviewed by Michelle Vandepas.
- During the last week of April, Moonlight Memoirs attended the Navy Nurse Corps Association's annual meeting and reunion in San Diego . We thank the Navy Nurses who helped spread the news about Moonlight Memoirs and the Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS) donation program!
- In late March and early April, Maggie brought Moonlight Memoirs to The Learning Community International's Arts and Humanities Fair and Performing Arts Cabaret, where she talked about her book project and signed some books!
- Moonlight Memoirs was on display at the Bologna, Italy Children's Book Fair in mid-March. As a result, we are working with a foreign rights agency in hopes of translating Moonlight Memoirs into another language!
- On April 10, 2010, Maggie signed books at Borders Bookstore in the Annapolis Mall.
- On April 17, 2010, Maggie participated in a round table discussion about Young Adult books at the Annapolis Book Festival at Key School.
- On April 18, 2010, Maggie signed books at Adoptions Together, Inc's Kid's Connection Conference

On December 7, 2009, Maggie Mei Lewis and Good Times Press donated 224 copies of Moonlight Memoirs to TAPS, where it will be given to families who are grieving the loss of a loved one in military service to America.

Good Times Press is happy to announce its first donation to assist with the care of animals in need. We thank Happy Paws Haven for providing such compassionate care to their rescued animals.

On Saturday, November 21, 2009 from 1 to 3 PM, join Maggie Mei at Hooray for Books in Old Town Alexandria, Virginia where she will be signing books to celebrate National Adoption Day.

On Thursday, Dec 3, 2009 from 6 PM to 7:30 PM, join Maggie at Annapolis Book Store on Maryland Avenue, where she will be signing books during Annapolis's annual Midnight Madness celebration.

On Thursday evening, December 10, 2009, join Maggie Mei at the Hard Bean Coffee and Booksellers, where she will be signing books during the annual Midnight Madness in downtown Annapolis. The stores will be open from 6 PM until midnight for last minute shopping and there will be visits from Santa, street carolers, refreshments, entertainment and more!

On October 29, 2009, from 3:30 to 4:30, Maggie Mei will be at Be Beep Toy Shop in Festival Shopping Center, Annapolis. She will be participating in a special event, "Day of the Dead", the Mexican tradition of honoring friends and family who have passed on from this life. Moonlight Memoirs will be read aloud and Maggie will be signing books!
